Wanted Retro suspension fork for alpinestars cro mega large

I'm after a nice condition fork with a long steerer for my large alpinestars cro-mega 1992. I can make use of a threaded 1 1/4" steerer as long as it's 185 mm long or I could use a threadless 1 1/8" steerer fork as long as it's around 260mm in length.

I like chunky looking forks to suite the large tubes of the frame so am ideally after a set of answer manitous or even some tange pro struts etc. I don't mind rebuilding/fitting new elastomers etc. let me know what you've got.

Wow, a 260mm steerer may be a challenge. You might be best looking for a fork that has a removable steerer so you can get a long ahead one.

Pace as an example, I think earlier marzocchi forks did, not sure on the manitous you have mentioned.

Good luck.

Cheers and yes it's difficult as my frame is very large with a long head tube. I have just purchased some headset adapter cups that will allow me to fit a more common 1 1/8" threadless headset so my options will improve I hope.

Maybe a bit new? But I've got these judy sl's with a really long steerer?

Like Ishaw as eluded, a steerer that long on any fork is unusual. Great bit of advice on a pace fork that you can change the steerer length.

Ok mate bit off topic but them cups you mention do they make a 1 inch frame into a 1 18 headset cheers

Many thanks but I already have a set of Judy's but I am holding out for a nice set of manitou 3 or 4s as prefer the look and always wanted a set back in the day.

@dubs has a really nice Manitou 3 for sale
