Devout Dirtbag
Folks.....i'm looking to re-kindle my love of mountain biking which means parking the Kona Coilair up and getting hold of something with no suspension....looking for something around 18" fully rigid.....needs to be in full working order, dont mind a bit of adjusting or new tyres/cables etc......dont need pedals or saddle....ideally a Kona/haro/alpine stars/cannondale....not fussed on model and not fussed if the paint work is a bit tatty....also not too fussed on age but I guess post 93 ish....dont mind canti's and thumb shifters

Budget depends on whats offered....not looking to spend big bucks (that would defeat the point for me).....just something that would get me out on trails and hope fully put a smile on my face....I would'nt rule out a single speed conversion either

Either way let me know what you have

I've just built a Saracen with parts off here.
97 Maxtrax, with XT gears, LX V brakes, White industries chainset, LX/Mavic wheels.
It has got Judy XC's but I believe you can lock them out and you could easily remove them and fit rigids.
If you're interested let me know and I'll post some pics

Thanks for the offer but i'll pass on that as I dont want suspension and cant be arsed to source forks etc

How about this... my 92 Cindercone...

Pic is slightly out of date... I've swopped out the Red pace bar for a shorter Gold USE one... and the bling skewers are now removed...

Pedals, Brake levers are a little bit nasty and wheels are nowt special. Paint and decals are not pristine - but this is a good honest bike. Original suntour/Shimano group

Wanting what I paid for it (off here) £130 (with the Flite) or £110 (without). Postage would be on top... It's a 20 inch frame...
