retro rc cars...............

It's actually a super sabre with a thundershot body shell, that will be why chris has 2 shocks on his.

It's pretty decent seen as I bought it second hand over 20 years ago (about 1988 - it was still £95 then!) I spent around £40 doing it up a couple of years back.

Oh yeah, I see the red Super Sabre part lurking under the shell now. Both Thundershot and Super Sabre came with one front shock as stock although you could get a kit to change to two. The Terra Scorcher was slightly higher up the Tamiya food chain and was basically a TS chassis with twin shocks and ballraced as standard.

the super saber is pretty much the same as the hotshot I think, mine was fully ballraced when I got it - they use the same bearings as shimano pulley wheels ;)

It was more like the Boomerang just had shorter rear shocks and a different shell.

I had a Bigwig with a technigold motor and an 8.4V battery :D

I later got a Serpent 1/8th scale thing but that was too fast for my brain to cope with, like 70mph fast. It accelerated so quickly I constantly found myself looking at where it had been and not where it was now.

Zoom, its gone.

To be fair,
Its not the speed of life that scares me
Its the sudden stop at the end ;)

Gc
