I had the Tamiya monster Subaru pickup, (was it called the Brat?)

Then moved straight into 1/8th nitros

Had a Kyosho Turbo Burns & then an Inferno

A couple of my pals had Mugens and similar, what a laugh we had

Subaru with big wheels was the Mudblaster. Had one of those too and is my favourite of the series. Small wheeled version was the Brat and it was re-released recently

Always wanted a Turbo Burns but never got one. Very, very cool.

I remember getting the shell painted,

Decals on, and rolling the bugger about 6 times before the paint was properly dry
