Was the 1992 Cheshire Classic the one in the disused quarry at Pott Shrigley? This was my first race in October 1992 and was organised by the now defunct Cheshire and Peak MBC .
I'm pretty sure the one I did was called 'The Cheshire Classic' but there may have been more than one.
Also raced at Bosley in 1993 in one of the legendary NEMBA rounds.

LOVE the pic of JMC flying through the air crossed up...

he was so far ahead of his time.... stopped at his memorial on the woodhead pass for the first time a week or so ago.. (on my birthday oddly!) after passing it many times... didnt realise his trophies where there!!
truly a huge loss to our sport and ill echo what jonnyboy said... what might have been...

I've got a whole heap stuffed somewhere, one of Jake looking less than impressed with his 1991 result at Blandford Forum....

Some taken in 92 aswell, local cross races and some national events...will get them scanned...in the meantime, here's Sam Humphrey on his Klein in 1991 (actually a scan from a mag, but love the photo all the same...)

Even more! I've still got most of it - and it's starting to fit me again now I'm losing weight with more riding.

Should I wear it on a RB meet?

I'll bet the trees at Rother Valley are a bit bigger now!
