Retro Oakleys

lucky enough to own some XX 24K's

I agree old school Oakleys are awesome, I have various older mid-90's oakleys around, will look em out for ya.

Oh my gosh, don't get me started....

I'm not too keen on the metal ones and tend to stick to the plastic framed models, not pictured are my Positive Red Iridium Zeros or my Koston Woodgrain Frogskins :)

Next purchase are some Jawbones (they do all get used by the way!).

Oh my days those are LUSH!!

Out of my 3 X-Metals, the 24k's are my favourite.. misplaced them for over a year

OMG how did you misplace 24k's?

They're one of my most treasured items, imho they have the nicest fit of any glasses with a great weight, although for exercise i do prefer poly framed models.

You've got me pining for the entire collection now OP.

We moved house..

They'd been put in the pocket of my leather coat and it got packed.. and unpacked and hung up.
I wear it so infrequently it took me months to discover them

I have a pair of Minute Gunmetal with W/Fire lens from 2002 with box cleaning bag.

& a pair of XX Jet Black W/Ruby lens also from 2002 with box(damaged) & cleaning bag.

 Those are the Cheetah/Leopard Eye Jackets I was talking about! I can't believe I missed out on two pairs recently!

Love your collection! That's what I intend to have, the full display case and a nice collection spanning the years.

who was it that had the x-metals?? Ive got an orig x-metals sticker somewhere if you want it...

Its been sitting around for around 12 years or so but should still stick :?

I love Oakley glasses and have thought about trying to muster up a collection of ones I wanted as a youngin!

I have 2 pairs of fives that I wear for riding, A black pair with black lenses that makes stuff look blue for sunny use, and a pair of transparent red with light enhancement lenses for duller days.

Tony.... ;)
