Anyone know where I can find a pair like the ones I had in 1990, they seemed a lot faster than the modern ones I have.
These have also lost their shape and the battery life is less than half.
Just goes to prove things were better made back then!!

And if you have read this far, anyone know the best route to removing paint from a frame - is Nitromorse ok on a 1992 Cindercone frame?
Oh and don't panic, it's not the original paint, that went years ago.

retro legs? I found mine got better with age. They need running in.

Could get the frame shot blasted ...its a lot faster and then its ready for a new coat of powder /paint ......im with Lgf on the legs, mine seem to work better now than the did in my younger days must have more time for riding now

cheers Godders - just spend £8 on a can of the evil gel and stripped the paint already.
Just finished with the wire brush in the drill and the steel frame looks pristine - I am one happy chap.
In fact the frame looks so good am contemplating just overspraying with clear lacquer!
Will sleep on that one.
