I hope you left a note on the Pace about the seatpost colour and that it's round the wrong way.

Not sure this qualifies as retro but this is my Scott Voltage YZ1, i had it given in a very sorry state and have totally rebuilt it, I was going to sell it on but have had a change of heart, its staying with me.

My other retro is this '95 Nishiki altus which is currently in bits waiting to be rebuilt

Far from great, but gets points for colour coordinated lock, and a nice saddle.

That was the first place I ate in London. September 1985. Amazing. I arrived in the big city from a village in the midlands and stayed in a seedy hotel in Paddington.

"Angus! Angus!"

For me, it was the good old Stockpots – a beacon of culinary hope you could rely on when almost skint and kicking your heels round town. A fiver would get you a homely banquet that would hit the bottom with a resounding thud. Happy days.

Nice DB locked to the railings out side of Tottenham court road tube station today ..suitably 'up/down' graded but frame and pace forks looked in ace condition.

Yeah, nice DB – saw this today too whilst commuting. It's good to see more RBs being ridden out there on the streets.

Re:

Spotted today in Wimbledon high street – pale minty green P7 with purple bits. The owner was doing a charity shop crawl along the length of Wimbledon's The Broadway. He was taking a risk by not tethering it to anything immovable. I felt duty bound to watch over it. The owner (not original) said he'd bought it off someone who'd done it up. They then asked if I wanted to buy it – I declined as I thought that was slightly odd thing to ask straightaway under the circumstances.
