Thumbshifters and front mech were common to Record OR and Icarus in '93, it seems.

No, the rear 'knuckle' on Icarus is sleeker, like on a Record OR.
This one has the heftier shape as found on Centaur, Olympus, Euclid etc

Two cool bikes, I think both Canadian. I left a note on the Brodie, if the owner ever wants to sell it...

The second bike is a mystery. Couldn't figure out what it was, but funky nonetheless!

I'm on my bike waiting at a signal, and waiting at the same signal is a black rider on this unbelievably spectacular 1984 Fisher Mt. Tam. I demand he stop so I can get the photos, and I ask him about the bike.

Says his dad bought it new, with several custom options, but his dad died when the rider was 10 years old, so he inherited it. This conversation was taking place about half a mile from where the purchase was made. I suspect that the "Colnago orange" paint job was one of the custom options.

Bullmoose hbars have the "MountainBikes" stamp on them. This bike would be BOTM in a heartbeat. It is not restored, just cared for by someone who loved it.

Rider says that even though he is financially distressed, he will never sell it. My kind of guy.
