retro bike spotted today.

Re:

There's a few Marins in this area, but one I seem to notice more than others. An IFT, with cantis, purple ano and bars ends, ridden by a very attractive, slim, tall lady

Here are a couple I've seen around Vienna recently.

Not too sure of the model but this XT equipped alloy bike has been here for over a year.

If the stickers are to be believed it is a Bianchi (NTH) :D

Which if I'm not mistaken would make it a Sakae Litage frame.

More spotted today on the streets of Vienna

Peugeot Team pro - Full XT with 531 Reynolds frame. This has been here for a week or so and is almost mint. sadly pieces are beginning to vanish.

Scott - This looks like a nice top-of-the-range XT-equipped Scott from around 88 (U-Brake). Has a nice early alloy frame.

Now, this one really interests me. Not sure of the brand but it says 'project 1' on it and the frame is alloy with Klein-esque proportions and fillet-welds. Boasts Campagnolo Record OR cranks, mechs, hubs and shifters. SS5 levers and Marin stem, so a bit of a mix.

Interesting bike. It seems "Project 1" is the brand. Here's another:

The cranks are actually Campagnolo Icarus:

Shifters and front mech' are Record though.
