We have a ten year old Pioneer tandem with Quad hub disc wheels running solid (cup and cone style) axles
I plan to strip the hubs and refresh ball bearings/grease but the LBS had no clue what ball size would be needed - anyone know?
ta
UPDATE - well it seems the bearing were all standard sizes 3/16" front 1/4" rear - not impressed with local shop, they also told me the brake disc pads were held in by magnet and when I eventually stripped the calipers having failed to get the pads to "just pop off" (as they said they would in the shop) and found they had retaining springs . . .
