Removing seals from Marzocchi Z1's?

Plastic tyre lever. Wide blade screwdriver with electrical tape covering the end. The dust seals might come out fairly easily, the oil seals usually put up more of a struggle.
Personally I'd replace the oil seals anyway, you can find suitable sized ones on ebay quite easily.

You can try to pull out the outer dust seal and re-use it. But you will not be able to take the oil seal out without damages.
Please exchange both of them!
This is the tool to take the oil seal out, it's called 'slider protector'. The picture shows my own reproduced tool.
P.S.: My reproduction of 30mm Bomber Seals will hopefully arrive next week! I'll be happy to sell a kit with a Retro Bike discount.

A good cheap version of the stancion protector is to use a lamp shade reducer - it does exactly the same job as the marzocchi one and will cost you all of a quid!
Removing them without deforming the metal ring within the seal will be incredibly hard
