Red 1992 Zinn Z-Centaur

As somebody said to me the other day...

He who hesitates!

Maybe I'll sell it on one day :)

I won't take much persuading gio!.........so many bike related irons in the fire that I decided no, but as soon as I saw it I stopped in my tracks and that speaks volumes......a rose among thorns on my eBay listing for sure......

I'm a bit slow on the uptake here..

So, you have another one, what's that make it? 12? 14? You wont be happy until your have the entire output of Zinn stored in and around your house will you?

It is a mighty purdy thing though and I can see why you bought it. I must confess I didn't even see it, not that I've got room for another, what with one roadbike and three mtb projects on the go.

Really nice.

Like to see some proper ride shots of it and a report back to see how it compares on the trails to the others.

If I could mate, I would :)

Just need a Z-Success and a Z-753 and that would be the lot!

Only four projects on the go :) Surely you could fit one more in….

Thanks.

I'm going to try and get out over the Christmas period and I'll definitely take my good camera to get some shots on the way.

None of that taken to the woods in the car and posed against a tree nonsense, we want to see mud and crap, and plenty of it.

As for more projects; I have not intention of turning my garage into one of those tangles of bike frames / wheels / bits, like some crazy old bike shop owner, and so, I must be strong.

Mind you, I spot a Zinn frame in my size, and I fancy my resolve may weaken.

Nope, no need to go in the car, plenty of places to get it covered in mud round here, don't you worry! :)

I think you should add one to your collection and see how it performs against your other steeds!

Trouble is, a Zinn in one piece, and I am now assuming yours is the one that was on the bay, is a bit of a collectors item and so they sell for more than the value of all my other bikes put together.

I mean, let's face it, if I'm going to spend a grand on a bike, it's more likely to be a Canyon 29'er or something similar.

Now, a bare frame... that would be right up my street, save me the trouble of stripping down and binning all the old school Campag stuff.

Amazing bike, just added a Zinn to my ever growing list of must own bikes. :)
p.s. thanks for those xt wheels you sold me. Better than described(which is rare on ebay). They are getting some use now.
Steve
