Rear derailleur identification

Anyone able to identify this derailleur hanging off this Alan Record for me please?

Not 100% sure but it looks like an early nineties Shimano Alivio. Heavy and nothing special in their range, but a solid piece of kit that should work faultless for years.
But you Alan is worthy of something better looking

It's an Alivio MC11 mech from 1994.

Cage was shared with later Acera-X models.

Inappropriate and entirely unworthy of being put on an Alan frame, IMO.
