Gents,

Please can anyone advise on this, Deore m555 calliper with a nats whisker clearance of the disc. Is this ok?

You have the required clearance so it's ok imho. Personally I'd prefer it to be more in the centre of the calliper gap than to one side.

Not easily based on how it is pictured. You aren't using any spacers/washers which is generally how one would tune in a calliper using the IS mount style, but in your case you need to move the calliper in the direction of the frame, which is in the way. If it were post mount it would be much simpler/possible, the only options I see, and I would not do either, is to file some meat from the frame mounts, or the calliper.

I have thought about this but it is of no gain really. In the meantime I spoke to DMR and they stated the same as you. Aslong as it is clear and no rub, you are good to go.

Thank you for your help mate, it os very much appreciated and gives me piece of mind.

Brad

A proper tool exists to face the points on the frame where the caliper contacts, giving a flat & perpendicular surface, without the jeopardy of hand filing. Bit of a shop/specialist tool however but maybe a call around your LBS's could see the job done right.
