i'd love a rc31 440mm A-C but let's face they are rocking horse poo rare at the moment.

so what alternatives are there? was thinking maybe those Exotic forks from ebay etc but i don't think they are the nicest looking thing.

thoughts on any thing else?

:)

Re:

hmm several options but i know this sounds stupid but a lot of those i simply don't like the look, the white bros is i think the nicest fork (probably ride and looks) but it's £400 which is a hell of a lot, truth be told this is for my 2007 clockwork which i actually don't ride that much and compared to the Exotic price which has a similar style look at £100 to £140 depending on the dimensions is hard to ignore

I would recommend the white bros, ive one here and it was very good in use, confident building, tracking is as good as reported

Keep watching ebay, and from looking(sorry :) Sold 3 days ago. with another a week prior, so they are quite available.
If i were to make the choice again, having more understanding of carbon forks, i'd opt for the white.

Rode the Exotic forks for a few years now, very good fork, strong and comfy. Would not hesitate to get another set.

Re:

I have a few rc31 style forks so thought I'd chip in to give you food for thought.

Exotics as you've mentioned, similar aside from the crown. Good forks imho.

Nuke proof do a version very similar btw, no idea if they are the same, made in the same factory etc.

I have some kinesis carbon/alloy forks that look a bit different but in a good way, a bit like if amp had made a rigid carbon fork.

Then theres the timeless pace fork. I am lucky enough to have a set of the ti ones, and they are well, just right. That said, I am doing a nut and bolt rebuild of my dbr axis tt build and may be putting some bounce up front, so they 'may' be surplus for that project.

The coolest looking carbon forks I own are exotic monocoque. Nothing like rc31s but very cool visually.
