RC200 F8 - Outer seat tube diameter?

Hi, I have a 1999 model RC200 F8
Chassis number XC18073 (could be XL instead of XC)

What I don't have is a pair of vernier calipers or anything to measure the seat tube size for a new front mech.

Can any of you Pace gurus help me?
