Pity you said rod or I’d have got a wiggle on and finished the sunbeam

Can’t you just leave the brakes off and say you haven’t decided which way to go yet? ;)

We'd be having BoTM type comments if he did that

Re:

Hi, throwing an old 1914 BSA Light Roadster into the ring, it is not light, but not to bad, build to last. I have had it a couple of years now and it is a very comfortable ride and have done many miles on it. I believe it is pre WW1 but BSA serial numbers are a nightmare, it has a numeric number with no letters, so it is there abouts, I think things changed during/after WW1 when letters were incorporated into the serial numbers. It was supplied by Rivetts and currently has an Eadie coaster, but have recently procured some BSA snail rear adjusters, so I may go fixed. Hope you enjoy it, I do. Terry

And the award for the best bike stand goes to OldTel.....

Re:

Hi, the stand is a modern replica, an Edwardian one would be the cost of a project. It is cast iron and pretty close to the original. Terry

Re:

That’s is really nice oldtel, always partial to a BSA :)
Not that I am allowed to be biased, especially with my rod braked riding wingman Brian, (epicyclo) entering the comp this month ;)

Re: Raleigh Humber 1954

Here’s a Raleigh Humber that my brother owns, purchased around 7 years ago , the rear hub is stamped 54 but the bike itself looks older to me , it comes out on a retro ride occasionally and certainly gets the attention and may of belonged to the Crow man in its early years
