BTW how easy was it to remove the thick blue lacquer & how did you do it?

Hi, thnx all for the comments...
I removed the paint by sanding it with sandpaper till the blue paint was lightly sanded, then with waterproof 340 till carbonstructure then waterproof 600....pfft....took me a lot of hours sanding.....

Wow!! Look amazing.
I had no idea you could sand off the "Blue CF"?!
A friend of mine had one way back and I always assumed the actual CF was partially blue. So it was just a paint/clearcoat then huh?
Did you respray a new clearcoat on it?

How does your friend make exact replica decals like that? I'd love to get some made up for my old Trek Y-Bike.

Also, please tell me this frame was not part of the Raven frame recall or that you had a dealer do the repair prior to all this work! I 'd hate to see this one crack in half on you after all that!
