Wanted Rat bike

Recently moved to London and don’t want to ride anything too fancy on the roads but that can also function well.

Ideally looking for a steel road frame 531 with poor paint work

Used to have a bunch of tired frames perfect for this but cleared out my collection 2 years ago!

Thanks :)

Are you sorted? I have a mid 80’s Raleigh lightweight division frame and forks that is badged as a Carlton and 753 but I couldn’t confirm that it is. Definitely nice though with campagnolo dropouts on both ends.

Hi. It has a 51cm seat tube, centre bb to top, but a longer top tube, 55cm c to c.
I’ve taken a few pics this evening and have attached some notes I made when I picked it 5 years ago. It’s rough cosmetically but I think sound structurally. Worst part is the mech hanger, it’s been helicoiled. IMG_0863.jpeg

Thanks guys. Small correction to the measurements, it’s a 54cm top tube. The photo is correct, I mis-typed last night.

Hi, really sorry but a very expensive trip to the vets has put this project to rest for now! Thanks for sharing information on your frame. Does look very nice!
