going tomoz after 6. i will take some pics dont worry guys. does anyone know the code to post pics in the forum topic. i used to use apple gallery but now thats gone i use smugmug and i cant do the link for photos to show up in forum

Not a good thought process, then, 'cos it just looks considerably less likely, and just serves to confirm to those already quite skeptical about it.

On this clip, Hans Rey talks about a Zaskar prototype.

From the clip, according to Hans, only one prototype survived and it belongs to a collector in Switzerland.

I'd be inclined to believe him.

While we are on the subject, I acquired this frame recently but the serial number appears to have been erased for some reason. Just wondering whether a genuine Zaskar, and of so, what year?

Probably stolen at one time or another certainly looks like it had a serial number that was filed or ground away.

For it to have been an LE it would have had to originally be sold as a frameset which is highly likely when you see the build spec. The stock Red Ano complete bike in 1996 was a Zaskar with XT spec.
