The RRS was first available in 1982, it went through various guises before eventually being phased out in the 90's (by which time all the gold had disappeared)

Your's is the 2nd incarnation with the Aerospace Contour tubing (round oval round downtube and seat tube) which disappeared in 1986. Not sure there is a phase 1/2/3 unless you count all the models across the years.

Like I said, there really isn't a Mk1/2/3 unless you count the years since introduction. If the 1st was 82, this makes your's a Mk4, but Raleigh didn't do things like that, to them its the 85 model.
