raleigh record sprint?

Re:

So its the seat, pedals and bars that need replacing i reckon.. any recommendation on best places to get the bits i need? As for the bars would i just be better off replicating them?

Unusual for a main stream model to have a W prefix, they normally have N for Nottingham

1985 Model given it's Sugino chainset

I'll dig out the spec's and brochure.

The original saddle was a Selle Royal Dolphin covered in Black mock Suede, and it definitely left Nottinham with drop bars with a gold sleeve, Black bar tape and Weinmann Gold anodised levers

The classified section on here may turn up the bits you need, otherwise it's eBay

You need MKS-AR2 pedals, anodised black, Black Sturmey Archer toe clips, Alloy drop bars with Gold engraved sleeve, and the gold anodised weinmann brake levers

Pair of GB bars with Gold centre on the bay at this time

I saw those, but if the OP wants an original build these "aren't the bars you are looking for"

Re:

I believe its not a notingham model...from what i read online the "nottys" have different frame number to the workshop models

All Record Sprint's were mainstream Nottingham models, the Lightweight Unit (LU) models all had the W prefix and were the more expensive range.I've not come across a W prefix one before, but with Raleigh anything was possible.
