So while moving house I found most of my old Maverick in the garage loft.
I’d intended to do it up a few years ago before all my spares and tools got stolen.
Now we have down sized I’m not sure if it’s time to let it go. I owned it from new (bought reduced from a local Raleigh store in 1986)
It is the ice blue 5 speed version
The frame and forks are there as are wheels (albeit with slicks on it). Gears are there. Side pull callipers are in place but no brake levers / cables.
The bars and stem are not original. It has flat bars and a swan neck stem.
Question is do I build it or let someone give it the time and love it deserves?
If I did let it go, how much would this rolling chassis be worth?
