Yes, Gump, you are right, the head tube looks shorter on my mates' Banana MTB.

The seat post didn't come with the bike, it was added later I think. If you look at the Dawes Ranger photo you can see a similar one with a QR for sliding the seat back (not that I ever used it).

washing up

I was just wondering how you get time to turbo train, bling your bikes and cars up and then the washing up is done as well. Seems to me you could spend a little time to look after your poor old dad and do his washing up so the poor old bloke could spend more time on his turbo.
