Hope you all had a good Bank Holiday? I spent it zooming around South Manchester and Cheshire, test riding my 'new' singlespeed 
Bit of a hot rod, but just a lowly 18-23 frame (which came to me as a free F&F) so more suited to a retromod than a resto IMO. Running approx 70" gear on the free side at present, I don't really do fixed (not since knee op) but it's nice to have the option I guess. Was going for matching dual pivots F&R but the rear wheel needed more drop so I polished up a puny Weinmann sidepull from the spares box and treated it to some new fittings... at least the pads match anyway. I have some wider Syntace ergo drops to try out and straight up black bar tape to fit afterwards - should drop 250g or so and get it to 23lb which was my target. The pedals just do the job, the radial front wheel was a spare I had (OE on my Dad's Giant SCR) so I found a new rear that was the nearest match to it in flip-flop 120mm OLD. Front brake caliper, levers and hubs have been de-logo'd with very fine wire wool and rims have both been de-stickered... It rides nice, and I put a good few hours in on it yesterday!
