Been a bit busy with the bike over the last few days. I have received the last few parts I was waiting for, and managed to get everything fitted.

I also managed to get hold of a great set of brake levers, which I swapped out for the tacky looking eBay levers. Brown bar tape also fitted...

I have so much praise for the guys at Pankhurst, they have helped me a huge amount. What Rikki doesn't know about vintage bikes, isn't worth knowing! They have all the retro parts you could dream of, and ever so helpful.

Update on the Equipe rebuild! The bike has been in the workshop all winter waiting for the sunny season. I found the drop bars very uncomfortable, always having sore hands and never being comfortable.

I have fitted bull horn bars to my Banana and they are superb, much more comfortable and easier on the brakes. I have just come in after fitting a new set of bars, Tektro levers and leather bar tape to the Equipe. It is superb and really looking forward to a ride out!
