Raleigh Dyna Tech

Retro Newbie
I was wondering if anyone could help me identify and perhaps give me a little more in depth info on a bike i have found in my parents garage, its marked up Raleigh Dyna-Tech and has a sticker on the frame that says Raleigh Reynolds 2070, it has a givin flex system on the handlebars, Suntour XCPro gears, SS-5 Dia Compe brakes, a Vetta Gel seat and Rigida Turbo 900 wheels, from what i can make out from my mum is that it was my Uncles who used to work for Raleigh, the paint work is one of a kind as he designed it himself, really i was just wondering if its worth anything and where the best place would be to sell it, i would appreciate any help

We don't do valuations on this bit of the site, use the right bit or the mods will lock your thread.
But can't you just ride your bike and enjoy it a bit?

.

Stick a post in the 'whats my x y z worth' thread in the Retro mtb chat forum and see what happens. I would guess that it would be worth more if you strip and sell the parts. I think a set of xc pro shifters sold on here for a fair few pounds the other day. You could ask the mods nicely to more this to the appropriate thread.

i would love to get this bike back on the road, but i dont have the time or the money, plus i couldnt really do it justice

i have post this in the how much is xyz worth section aswell, if possible could someone give me a little more info on the bike, its origins etc

i have measured the frame, although im a little unsure of where you measue from, but from the base of the fram where the pedals are to the top of the frame where the seat post pushes into is 18", with the seat post in its 23", not sure if i have measured it right but i hope that gives some idea of the size
