Under the Laquer on the Ti-1000's is the Ti tubes painted?

And has anyone seen an original saddle for a Ti-1000?

I've not seen my bike in any of the catalogue scans. Do you have one for it ?

The one below is my 'beastie', ultrazenith. Hopefully also a beautiful one

Indeed it is a beauty. Are you selling it? ;)

On a separate note, I have been musing the sizing of retro dynatechs (and M Trax), and why their largest frames are only 19.25" centre to top. I'm 6'3", and even the 19.25" frames are slightly small for me, and I have to resort to 400 mm plus seat posts.

I'd like to ask other Dynatech and M Trax owners: which frame size do you ride, and how tall are you?

Bikemeister, are you still in contact with anyone working for Raleigh now?

I wanted to know whether they have any plans to resurrect the RSP division, I understand they have some "SP" Racers made of Carbon, but they're not the same, I bet they're made in China.

I also wanted to know whether they have any NOS MTrax/Dynatech/RSP frames - I wrote them a lovely eMail, no no avail, no response, not even an acknowledgement

I'm a bit late, but I'm intrigued to know if you ever managed to get any reply from Raleigh about this?

Hello again,

Yesterday I've done the last ride with my custom Voyager XT, which was a really perfect bike. But depending by the situation, there is a new Voyager with the complete Campa group set, at the wall of my apartment, one of them has to leave, to get enough space for the three new Raleigh project. It was not an easy decision. But a good friend was searching for a Dyna made of Reynolds steel. In this case I have to say goodbye to my pretty nice frameset, I've gotten from Spikes in 2010. I’ve had enjoin the ridding through the Rhein-Main-Area, with this hand build part of Britain bike history.

During this ride I'd visited the former German Mountain Goat dealer and a wonderful Rover P4

Starting at the end of June I’ll present a tread of each project to you.

Best Regards from Mainhatten

Wolfgang

Hello people,
do you know anything about this dyna-tech bike? If so, how much is it worth?

Re:

A Torus XT, like mine. There is a topic for just this question on the forum "how much is my xyz worth"

Frame only £150-200 on eBay if advertised well, lowest I have ever seen was £95 for a frame. Whole bike price, not sure but will depend on components, looks like lots of original XT bits on yours so that will help. Forks are a bit of a problem, some Pace forks would be my preference.

I would guess a minimum of £250 for the whole bike as it is?

Hope this helps

Yes tubes are painted and it's stubborn stuff, I used sand paper that is an inch thick and comes on a huge roll. Use about half a meter at a time, wrap it around the tube then alternate pulling on each end. like your milking a cow type action.

Paint stripper didn't really do much.
