Recall former TDF mechanic Steve Snowling's quote "The best road frames I ever came across were stock American Merlins. Made in California out of titanium, those that I worked on were so strong that you could jump on the rear triangle with no wheel in & not be damaged! Indeed they were so well aligned ex-works, it's all but impossible to re-align any part of them with conventional workshop tools"....highly regarded...think I might jump on a plane to Seattle.....
