Dan - good to see you on here!
Clarke is up for some off-roading soon, so we'll let you know when we are going out!
A few other guys on this site have invited me to meet up, sounds good to me.

I did the student champs at newnham but I think it was more about drinking beer and having fun than racing!

Best days..

Panda Challenge, Inside Park, 1991 - Junior 54th place...urgh...
Cheddar Challenge 1991 - Junior DNF...friggin mud on the final lap killed me off....urgh...
BMBF Round 1, Inside Park, 1992 - 24th place....urgh...
Southern Area Champs, Puddletown, 1992 - 11th place, just missed out on top 10 as I blew on the final climb....bah!

Whole bunch of cross events in and around Dorset, 1990 - 1992

Happy times, raced for Bournemouth Arrow and Bournemouth MTB Centre

I think I was at the race where Andy Gordon beat some well established riders (Tim Flooks?) up on Woodbury Common. I was a little further down the order and probably in the back of the St John's ambulance getting my heart restarted by the time he started negotiating a new team and his brief pro career!

Andy Gordon was the nicest bloke you could meet . Haven't seen him for a while he could of been one of the best totally dedicated . If anyone knows what hes up to would be good to find out

The Salibury plain challenge in it first year. 1990 some thing. Great area for a race :D

As far as I know....He's a postie.

I rode the Kitt Hill Classic races near Tavistock in Devon, and the ones at the abandoned tin mines near err... tavistock.
Im from Tavistock by the way. !!

Woodbury mainly. First race was in the clips and straps days, bout 1990. Last race there was 2001 I think.
Won sports series in 99 on a singlespeed before every bugger was running them when I was fit not fat.
Did a couple of On-a-bikes but I found the courses a bit boring
Who's up for a retro Malletts bash then? Might do it on my Pugsley though.
