Second seller says they have tried to end the listing but cant. Sounds like you may be right guys, Im not going to see the cranks.

A seller can not cancel a listing in the last 24hrs if it has bids on it. They could contact CS and explain to them who may then cancel it for them, but time is running out. Another way is for you to arrange with the seller to buy the cranks, you can bid on them say £10,000 to make sure you win the auction, then the seller can adjust the price once finished by invoicing you or simply offering a discount to the desired agreed amount, even £0.
