Re:

Looks lovely.

Any chance you could please be a tad more specific with the size (c-t-c? c-t-t? What about toptube?) and also include a ballpark figure of what you're after? Thanks!

Also +1 Robbied196: could just be the angle of the last photo but that downtube does not look happy...

Hi Robbied192, yes there is the slightest bend in the top tube, hardly noticable. One could say it adds character! (Just been told it doesn't add character..!)

Hi Dirt Discipline, I'm no bike expert unfortunately! All I've been told by my father is the frame size (23inch).

Top and down tube look both bend to me and it seems like it had a front accident.Forks also look a little bit bent (right hand one in particular)
Sorry, but I wouldn't trust this frame unless one brings it to a proper frame builder to assess eventual damage.

And no, it doesn't add character to the frame.

Re:

@anidel Many thanks for your message! The bike was stripped down by a bike shop and confirmed that any damage will not effect the performance of the bike. The Forks are not bent, this could be down to the photo angle?

P>S my 'adds character' comment was frivolous. Of course any viewers can judge and see the frame as they wish. That's why I uploaded a fair few photo angles.

:)

Ah good you had it checked! Should have stated earlier! For the asking price I'd sure wanted to know it's ok to ride.

Thanks! :)

In a head on collision like that, which bends both top and down tubes it's very, very unusual for the forks not to have taken a catastrophic impact rendering them unsafe and unusable.

It's a lovely frame - I hope the original finish is retained.

(One of the rear drop-outs needs looking at - the bike shop should have noted that - imo.)

Good spot. Missed that.
