I'm planning one last build, using the good bits from the parts bin that have sat there unused for too long, taking up space that I'm no longer allowed to use!
The main stipulation is the frame needs to be canti (rather than disc of V), and it needs to be 19" or above as I'm 6"2.
I'd also like it to be something I liked as a kid, something emotive, which I know is impossible for anyone else to know for sure, but we're talking about Pace, Yeti, various exotic american brands like Funk, Dean, Nuke Proof, Salsa or Fat Chance, Raleigh USA, Ti DBR, anything E stay, Ti KHS, you know the kind of thing. Centre fold in MBUK, readers rides type of thing. Smaller manufacturers preferred, but there's definitely GT's, Konas and specialiseds that would fit the bill.
Doesn't need to be American, doesn't need to be ti, doesn't need to be expensive, doesn't need to be in good condition as I'm happy to have it refinished. et. etc.
Does anyone have anything that might fit the bill? Feel free to spam me with anything and everything as I know I'm not being particularly definitive here.
Frame or frame and fork perferred over whole bike, but for the right thing, could stretch to the bike and sell off any of the unused parts.
