I’m thinking that’s the way I’m going to go for my base, mainly because I’ve already got a stack of 4” posts I can use. I was worried about the longevity but at the end of the day it’s a posh shed not a house!

Definitely. I got carried away looking at the different ways of doing it, groundscrews, concrete pad, rod/pile system etc etc.

If I’d had the time, and inclination, I’d have dug some holes and then built a shutter around the top of each one, a couple hundred mm above ground level and concreted them in.

Always handy if you want a reasonable welder having a bigger supply coming in.

No brainier running a ring in such a small space. Not to mention to help run the welder that @Tootyred has convinced you to get!

Also do you have enough sockets??? Always think about having stuff on charge. Radio, heater, fan, small machine tools etc. Saves you having to unplug things all the time and keep things tidy.

Plus lower down for vacuum and other items that might be kept under a bench and then an outside one for outside stuff!

I’m sure you have thought through it all!
