my idea of a bike shed, architect designed....just about big enough I reckon

Took a bit of a winter hiatus but the welcome arrival of some nice weather meant the tools came back out and a bit of progress has been made

Very nice. What you cladding it with? Patinated zinc or coreten steel?

Corten does look fantastic...especially if you went for a grass roof!

Sadly budget means it'll probably just be a bit of shiplap cladding, and the roof will be box section steel sheets.

I did have grand plans for a a green roof and a quirky, interesting design but my lack of confidence in my own ability and a tight budget has resulted in something a bit boring.

Looking like progress! Is your structure on an existing base/did you make a base or is it on posts? Apologies if already stated - I did start to trawl back through the posts but gave up!

It’s an 8”x2” frame sat on 10 concreted in 4” timber posts

I’m thinking that’s the way I’m going to go for my base, mainly because I’ve already got a stack of 4” posts I can use. I was worried about the longevity but at the end of the day it’s a posh shed not a house!
