Project ended: Bike-tech? 199? Titanium

At the end, I ended the project but I didn't post any pic here. I was unable to find real info about the frame, but according to seller was a Bike Tech (german 90's brand) prototype. I even asked Markus Storck ( founder of Bike Tech), but no response. Seems a frame manufactured by Japan manufacturer TIG Titanium.
I ended installing a Raceface Ti Stem, a Titec Ti handlebat, a Synrcos alu 27,2mm with 29,8mm adapter, a nice and light Shogun triple butted fork, and Suyncros crankset. Hugi hubs and Mavic X517 rims. Biketech.jpg The rest is XTR VM900 mostly.

Please feedback!

Good looking bike and a nice tasteful build.
(well done for resisting a Syncros stem! 😉)

I have no picture, but according to this article from the German Bike Magazine, issue 8 1993, Bike tech showed at the Euro Bike Trade show 1993 amongst other things (like the 700C cross bike at the picture) also a "Titan bike with oversized tubing"
Bike-Tech Trekkingbike Bericht aus Bike 8 1993.jpg

Maybe that was yours?
Not sure if there are still some more pictures from this bike show available somewhere?

Bike tech was using Tange frames a lot and some have been produced in Japan, so it would be no surprise that also for a Titan prototype they may have used connections to Japan.

Later they have even had a Alumnium frame using Tange alu tubing, but already Mid 1994 Markus Storck has introduced another brand called 2-Danger and Bike Tech branded bikes disappeared. 2-Danger was also just around for roughly two seasons, and all focus was shifted at the Storck brand.

Thank you! Good point. Mi idea was similar. Bike Tech Tange frames were made in Japan, so there are possibilities that this titan frame was welded there, but I've no real info. This info you sent is a good start!
I found some pictures that relation my frame with Tig Titania ( weldings, dropouts, squared hose ends) but not other evidences. I've a copy of the invoice writed by hand saying Bike Tech proto, and the words of the seller.

I eed to ride longer. I only did a fast test in my neighboorhood. Stem moves a little. Raceface expansion system don't work very well. And crankset seems for JIS, and BB is an ISO, or reverse, so not much shaft inside the crankset.
