Proflex K2 with electronic rear shock!

I think it was at £350 at one point.

The first time I saw it, it was £399, so it has dropped again, I DO rather like it, my LBS had one in stock ('98?) but I bought the K2/proflex 3000 instead 8)

Does one of the buttons make one of those 'whistling bomb' sound effects or does it just do that when the shock is compressed a certain amount?

To be honest I've never ridden one, I think they're from the turn of the century.

I remember a thread with a pic of a bike shop that had a few hanging from the ceiling so I know there's a few about NOS.

I'm sure it would build into a fine machine though.

There must be a market to reproduce those.

The only thing that has ever put me off pro flex's is that the shock replacements are generally more than 3 times the value of the bikes

My proflex 5000 uses that shock on the front and rear. It's for sale in the classifieds...
