proflex frame id ??

won this on ebay the other day for £12.01 and just picked it up....

from what i can find on here i think it might be a 552 ??? frame is alloy and the paint is shocking came with whats in the pic plus all the fittings and stx levers and deore thumbshifters

you may struggle to get elastomers now

It'll be something like a 552/752 etc.

yeah the stem is in good condition and the pencil eraser is good as well, i know there shite but this was the bike i wanted at 13 and the bike i was told hahahaha when i told my ma how much it was in the shop

does indeed mate cheers, ive put it together to see whats there n whats not but seems it all is only thing im not sure is the order the rear elastomers go in ?? does one go into the seat stay then the other two intween to the frame :?

they all just slot on the bolt inbetween the two plates at the top of the rear fork section it should be just one elastomer but then its probably perished and someone has done what has been done to mine and fitted landrover dampers

i will take a better pic and post it up monday

Welcome to the unfinished Proflex club, great bargain .

I've seen a few of these type (552/752 I can't tell the difference) on here but nobody ever seems to get around to finishing them. Mine is almost complete now though, just need about another hour on it. Subject to some testing of my own, I may be able to help out in the elastomer department.
