Problem with the site?

Hi all,

I had two personal messages tonight from MichaellRunon (new user) saying:

''Dear, bhodgkiss!

Spam sending from your computer was detected.
We highly recommend you to check your computer and perform online virus check at our site immediately:
If you do not pass this test we will have to delete your account and forward a complaint to your ISP with attached log file (your IP address, etc.). ''

I assume this is a problem with the site (spammer?)

i had the same - yep the site has a spamming issue. oh and i'd desable the hyperlink in your copied message above if i were you (just in case some one clicks it).

If people are getting dodgy PMs please either drop me a PM or email to john@retrobike.co.uk and I'll remove the user asap. I cannot read all posts on the forum.

As with other obvious spam like this recieved via email or wherever, don't click the links....

Having admined on a forum and had similar with the usual

"i've been sent this spam with a virus warning.."

Some people still click the link and whine that their computer is now full of transgendered, albino hamster pr0n and it's my fault. :roll:
