Not my absolute faves, but good nonetheless: My real favourites are generally going to be largely British and French posters/ads, though I'm sure many countries have their share.
Thanks Mate. That is another informative ad. After I posted this, it came to me that there might be similar pages in the galleries but I'm not sure. I was reading the Diamondback catalogs the other day.
I see this is a Retro Forum and I think in the UK there is a more exclusive "3 speed" type of forum somewhere I've only heard about for really vintage velos.
Still, there's no excuse for people not to post interesting finds:
Nice, some of the early French posters can be real "Va-Va-Va-Voom" if you know what I mean, the Liberte cycles ad for one. This Royal Fabric is a bit of a "travelogue" type of poster.
That ad also reminds me a lot of the very vintage http://www.art.com/products/p10070727-s ... 75915aafef Culottes Velo Ski poster which seems to have made the rounds to bicycling magazines and the like. Rather arousing like many have been.
I like "Liberator", had it as my computer wallpaper for awhile. http://rlv.zcache.com/liberator_cycles_ ... wm_400.jpg Some places sell those old posters, the French certainly had their share of paintings with beauties in them but I really like the warrior of Gaul.
