Post up your tenuous links to 'famous' people.

Have had a few pints with Jimmy Somerville and friends in a Vauxhall pub. Stood next to Gwen Stefani in a small music TV production company office up by Portobello.

Met Prince Charles thousands of years ago at the Bowes Museum and asked him what the playing chips were for in a display case.

Not sure if this counts though, I know a lot of the 'pro' racers on the UK downhill circuit having been on it since as far back as I don't know when.

Through being mates with a few drag queens have met Julian Clary, who is absolutely stunning in the flesh. Shared a carriage on the train with Jade of the UK Eurovision Song Contest entry, and she is TINY! The woman who plays 'Dixie' in Holby lives just up the road from me. Kate Thornton used to live around the corner, but sadly moved elsewhere, I'm not sure that's such a bad thing though!

my wife has just reminded me that she once kissed Nicholas Charles aka nick cotton

not sure which is worse

Arthur Scargill's daughter was my Gran's GP.

I had a habit of not recognising Danish celebrities who were customers at the last bike shop I worked in, and asking for their names when they came to get their bikes from the workshop.

I went to school with the drummer from Chumbawamba.

Got drunk on numerous occasions with members of the Wonder Stuff.

Courtesy of an ex girflfriend, find myself on some interesting "lay lines",

I chatted to Chris Boardman at the Tour De France when it started in Holland.

Also chatted to Nick Craig at a cyclo cross meet in Leicester.

Used to train with Bradley Wiggins.

Was at a race meet with Nicole Cook.

As for non cycling famous people, a client from work is a famous ex 1st ever Big Brother star (for what its worth  ).
