pssir general george jackson is a family friend.(when we were in the father land he would come round and visit a lot.apart from writing epics on why ww3 will start in pakistan(oil accsess ect) he would be commander in chief of nato forces for europe.
ps i also met neil kinnock once at gissing in diss ...(worlds longest running strike happened there...) at a village fete..

-Was bought up in a house built and lived in by the first Lord Mayor of leeds (well he was famous once)
-Used to live near to most of Leeds United untill things went pear shaped and the club could no longer afford the local property prices.
-Was once interviewed by ex-war correspondant Martin Bell for a program on the future of electronic warfare. :?

I'm related to Gabby Logan (nee Yorath) and my Grandad was the Beebs man in Africa throughout the seventys and had his own news/current affairs programe a bit like that McDonald bloke.

One of my customers is an actor who was partly responsible for Ant or Dec getting blinded in Byker Grove, he also smashed down Jimmy Corkhills door in a drugs bust amongst others bit parts. A very wooden performance in Love Actually too.

Duncan Dares once told me to **** Off because i kept walking across in front of him during filming in Chester.

I lived over the road from Tim Burgess of the Charlatans in Didsbury and used to look after his car. I also new Damon Gough aka Badly Drawn Boy and he owes me some money.

The drummer in my old bands mum used to do Dicky Birds washing. And Brian Glover lived in a cottage next to the woods where we used to ride our bikes (we used to shout lines from 'Kes' at him when he was in his garden )

My friend Tom accidentally gave Ken Hom (the chinese master chef) a dead leg in a lift in Hong Kong.

He walked in rather quickly while trying to catch it, and charged in with a high knee straight into his quads.

To say he was unhappy would be an understatement - he did wince a bit.
