Need help on where or how to polish my syncros cranks.
I am in north london so close to me would be better.
Regards John.

You can buy polishing kit from machine mart ( one in enfield IIRC ) for about £15 and do it yourself.
I've always had good results with these and polish loads of stuff now.
If they're annodised it may take a while though.

Not sure abour getting them done, a motorbike shop or classic car place could point you in the right direction but when ever I've enquired it's always been very expensive.

there is a big sense of achievement when you do your own buffing! (stop giggling back there  )

get a kit & get in front of the telly for an hour or two and you will be chuffed to bits with the results

Or send it to a silly fool(like me) who would just love to do it for the sheer joy of making thing shine....!!!

Sure i was a magpie in my former life....

I`m doing this right now to a pair of 7800 cranks. Using a Dremel but I think I could achieve something good with just a lot of elbow grease

You can polish by hand using wet & dry and then a metal polish but the kits are far more aggressive and the finish left will last much longer and be easier to maintain.
They do make a mess though throwing a fine black mist into the air that covers most things so not a good idea in the house.
