polishing off anodising

Well the caustic soda will set you back about a quid fifty for a large bottle, and it'll take you about 5 minutes to take the ano off... but new TA rings have a lovely polish on them...

That's what I was thinking - seems a shame to do that kind of violence to it when the finish is one of the points of having a TA ring...
 
That blue is very lush too. I'd be standing over the caustic bucket hummin and haain.

I've recently thrown in an NOS Ringle Ti-Stix Cam Twist Collar in turquoise :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:


Right collar, wrong colour.....needs must ;)
 
I stripped an anodised seat post at the weekend - I just used Muck Off.

Poured it into a container - came back a couple of hours later and voila!

Plus its biodegradeable ;) :cool:
