polishing aluminium frames

hi folks, i have recently acquired a marin bobcat trail and the frame has only what i can describe as crazing. is there anyway this can be polished out or am i stuck with it? it looks like it has ring worm at the minute thanks in advance.

I use Flitz and a polishing ball.

The frame is raw aluminium lacquered over at the factory. The aluminium oxidizes causing the ringworm.

Paint stripper and a polish.

It takes a while.

you sir are a genius lgf, it will take me a while but i have 2 tubes of autosol to shine it up after stripping. thanks

If push comes to shove many of the frame finishers also do an aluminium frame finishing service.......

once polished up with autosol it will only need a quick polish every 3 or 4 months.

you dont even need polish - a cotton cloth will do the trick.
