Polishey frame polish

All over the Bay of Evil there are polishing kits available......all of them are for use with an electric power drill (so if you don't have one or can't borrow one then buffing by hand is your only option  ).....the kits normally consist of three different mops that screw onto the mandrell supplied with kit......the coarser/more bristly of the mops you use with the coarse polish/soap (so called becase it's about the same size and consistency)....then when thats done you move onto the finer soap with a softer mop....then finish it all off by polishing all the residue off with the fluffy mop - the same one you can use with the Belgom Alu........sure it's a bit of a faff but once you've polished a frame in this manner the Belgom Alu kicks in with its waxy waterproof coating which means cr*p don't stick to your frame so good no more

I'm pretty sure Lysander means Autosol too...

I usually pick it up at my local hardware store:

Heh............I'll have four litres of masonery paint, a box of 6mm washers, and a Ball Gag, please....... :p

Brasso camp also... but once you get to products with this fine a polishing abrasive in them what's more important is the steps you took before you used your finishing polish along with the method, type of rag or finishing cloth used and how you do it that gets the best result in the end.
