Blue Wot, red Wot, '97 Explosif and red Cinder Cone in my sig. below all done by 'Clockwork' in Eastbourne for £40 each...

...not always the fastest of turnarounds, but I'm happy

Oh, and the PINK(!) Spesh! ;)

Here is my 97/8 Klein Pulse Comp.....just got the frame(and Cannondale fork) back from John Whiteman Engineering in Long Eaton, Notts. The pics REALLY don't do it justice. In the flesh its a lovely pearl grey with metallic flecks that looks stunning in the sun! I had a top coat of lacquer added which only cost another tenner and really makes a difference. Im chuffed with it at least :)

My '92 Dawes The Edge was done by County Powder Coating in Corby. Had to get it blasted myself, but it's a pretty good finish. It's just plain gloss white, as they don't have lots of colours but it was only £30 for frame and forks. It's a bit mottled on one seatstay, but otherwise I'm really happy with it.

Regards

Marge

Powder coating has come a long way since the old days of about 5 colours.

Most decent coaters can do sparkly, metallic look and neons and judging by the some of the bikes here some manufacturers could be doing their customers a big favour by adopting the harder wearing coatings rather than wafer thin wet paints

Opened my eyes up to a few options particulary on cost
