PLEASE!! help to identify this frame brand

I buy this frame and i want to know wich is the brand of the frame the owner said to me samething like sachs the motorcycle brand in germany. Does anybody know the brand?

Somebody here is going to recognize that "s"

First thing that sprang to mind was a late 70's SABA ............only their cutout logo was a little upper torso with arms raised winning a race. Will have a think LOL

Most Serottas had fastback stays and their "S" looked different. This S is identical to the Somec, but they had the cup/tulip cutout on the bottom of the BB shell.

What is the threading?

The BB is 36X24 and the seatpost 27,2mm.

Well we now know it is Italian. I keep going back to Somec because the s is identical but I have yet to see one that did not have the cup/tulip cutout some where on the frame.

Best bet to you is go on Classic Rendezvous and just start looking at all of the makes from Italy that begin with an S.
