picture hosting. And Rock shox Shock help

i used to use photobucket and I have not tried to use it for a while. tried it today and it just wont load fully..
went and looked on google and it looks like its been a long term thing.

So what other sites are there out there ?? any that people on here use..??

I got this rear shock some time ago thinking I could make a very short air shock with it by making a clamp on end for the shaft end of the shock, well that did not come to anything and the frame it was for got sold.

Soooo...
With the wealth of knowledge that is on here, has anyone got a clue what it is off, I am planning to sell it yes.. but I bought it not knowing what it was from but not really worrying at the time but now its dead money not mega money but still some I would like to get back.

its about 1" stroke and meant for a clamp on seat stay type back end, something like an AMP but as I don't own an AMP I don't have anything to measure to be able to check.

A mate has Said that Yeti also used this type of shock mounting so its another possible.

Any ideas ??

Pb still works for me, but with all the ads etc I find it pretty infuriating & just a generally longer process to upload & paste in the tags to a forum.

I'd be surprised if it was meant to be like this. All the shocks I've seen for amps.and even newer specialised frames have either the non eyeletted part at the other end, or as an extension of the shaft, otherwise what will stop the shock fully compressing and hitting the frame? Maybe I'm not seeing something in the pic but it looks like the shaft is missing the end eyelet?

I would guess it is for a Trek STP soft tail frame.

The trek STP looks like it could be the one..

The shock stroke is only about 25mm so when the shock is fully compressed there is about another 25mm of shaft left sticking out.

the shaft diameter is 25.4 / 1" where a seat stay section would clamp on.
from the very end of the shaft to the centre of the bolt though the eye is about 143mm.
so fully compressed about 118mm
